vRealize Operations admin account fails with the error Incorrect User Name and Password

To reset the failed login count:

- Log into the Master node as the root user. With a text editor, open /storage/vcops/user/conf/adminuser.properties

- vi adminuser.properties

- Clear the line failed_attempts=

- Repeat steps 1-3 on all Master Replica and Data nodes in the cluster.

- Save and close the file ( To save the file you must Press ESC and type :w! then enter )

- Quickly log into the Operations Manager Product UI. Update the credentials on all adapter instances or other applications that ask for the vRealize Operations Manager admin credentials, with the correct password.
