Today's topic it's simple but useful. I will show you how to check the vCD Cell DB Server and DB name ( This is useful if you are new to the environment and you need to fix some critical Prod issues. Example: Hang Task need to check the status on the DB Cell )
Steps:
- Login to Cell through SSH
- CD this path "cd /opt/vmware/vcloud-director/etc/"
- Run "less global.properties"
- Here is the output
- Now you can identify the DB Server and vCD DB used
